Anglesey also has a fascinating history and boasts several historic sites such as Beaumaris Castle and the famous Bryn Celli Ddu burial site. Snowdonia is within reach for day trips, or you can head to Ireland on the Stena HSS Fast Ferry at Holyrood port. Other local attractions include the Sea Zoo, a working windmill and a Victorian Prison.
